Count IF column contains any data from second column

    Hello,

I have a source column A which has several rows of different ID numbers, and then I have a data column B which will have those several ID numbers plus it will have other ID numbers that I do not care about.

I only want to count the number of times an ID number from Column A appears in Column B. The ID can repeat many times.

I've tried countIF but I can't figure out how to make it check against the entire column.

    A B
    1 1
    2 4
    3 7
    4 1
    5 3

So the count would be 4 (1,4, 1,3)

    Any help would be great.

Sorry to bug you, but is there a way to also count if that array Doesn't match?

Could I put a NOT somewhere in there?
