Numbering Duplicates

I have a unique key (to distinguish a customer) in column C that can be there multiple times depending on differing criteria like date, purchase items, etc.

I want to know how many times the unique key is a duplicate in column Q. So for example the first instance would be 1, the second time the individual purchased an item it would be 2, the third 3, etc. How do I do this?

That just tells me that the X Unique Value has 2 duplicates... I want it to say this duplicate is 1 and this duplicate is 2

Double check the relative vs. objective cell references.

C$2:C2
