Formula to Copy highlighted rows into another sheet in same workbook?

Hi All!

What I'm doing/using the workbook for:
• I have created a workbook, using conditional formatting, that highlights an entire row if a specified column contains a certain word. It does this for a list of 12 specified words.
• I copy a data set (with a specific data format) and paste it into my workbook
• It highlights the rows of interest for me for ease of view/to save time from looking to see if the row qualifies to be put into the final workbook sheet of qualified data sets

My Question:
How do I then have Excel take only the highlighted rows and automatically copy paste them into sheet in the workbook?

Hi, welcome to the forum

There are probably easier ways to do this.

Have you considered using filters or a Pivot Table?

Can you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Thanks! and thanks for the quick response.

Would a pivot table allow me to only import rows with a specific format (like the highlighted cells)?

I thought about using a Filter, but when I first paste in the data sets they're often between 200 - 500 lines of data. Clicking and un-clicking would be a nightmare then is what I was thinking.

However...now that I think about it, yeah, I guess I could simply add the "list of 12 qualifiers" into the pivot table's "report filter" and then it would just show the data I was interested in then, right? Hmmm...There are things I don't like too much about the pivot tables though, so if possible I'd like to try to figure out another way.

Definitely, I'll upload a picture here in a bit (gotta run an errand real quick). Thanks, man!

PT's have their place, and filtering 500 lines of data should not pose a problem.

I will wait for your upload, but please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff) - and, depending on what browser is being used, some pics dont even show up on the forum

Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.
