Trying to count zero's

Hi all,
I am trying to work out how to count the number of times 0 is entered for specific cells as shown in the attachment but all my efforts keep returning error's.
Can anyone offer some advice on what i am doing wrong please?

In A13 copied across and down:

=COUNTIFS($D$12:$U$12,A$12,$D13:$U13,0)
