    Multiple values need to be sorted by month and then added in a seperate column

    I am trying to create an annual spreadsheet where in column "A" I have the date, in column "B" I have an assorted array of 9 machines and in column "C" I have the time accumulated on the machine. What I am trying to do is;
    Each time a certain machine is used in the different months I want the time accumulated in "C" to be added together in a separate column

    I hope there is someone out there that understands my problem and can help

    Maybe use a Pivot Table. See the attached example.

    Glad you have a solution that works for you.

    Worth exploring Pivot Tables. Once you've mastered them, or even understand the basics, you'll find they are very quick to set up and very flexible.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
