Unable to maintain Formulas between multiple workbook

Good evening everyone,
I have a little problem so I hope that someone could guide me in the right direction.

I have 20 workbooks that need some simple attention, so first of all I have a workbook with a tab 1 that I named Section Tab.

This section tab, refer a lots of link summary between tabs from that particular workbook .

All 20 workbook are set identicaly, only the numerical data varies.

So I need to copy the formulas the full sheet ( the Section tab) to all of the other 19 workbook. I do not mind to open 19 different file to do it, but everytime i try to paste the section tab to the other work book, he add in the formula the correct cells that it is looking for, BUT from the primary workbook.

So here is my dispear, I tried to transfer the a copy of the initial tab to another workbook while both open, it does the same.
I tried to past the with the Formula sign , it does the same also.

I am really trying to get rid of this ( ='[Chicago PDC 1-11-16 SECTION 8.xlsx] ) first portion of the values being added.

Press Alt+E+K which will get you the Edit Links Dialogue Box.

In that Click Change Source and target the current workbook in the file selection dialogue box and click Ok.

Hi there, is there a menu shortcut? I have excel 2013, and when i try Alt+E+K it takes me to Crt+F ( to find )

Try a FIND/REPLACE...
FIND '[Chicago PDC 1-11-16 SECTION 8.xlsx]
REPLACE leave blank

Check the below screenshot which is taken from excel 2010.

hmm maybe I am wrong here, and Six has what you want. When you create the new sheets in the new file, do you need them to reference the Master file, or their own file?
