Question A Formula to Return the best out of two sets of data.

    Formula Needed.xlsx

I'm struggling with what formula I would need to look at these two columns and return the best (highest) out of the two?

If for example we have -2 and 4 I would like the formula to return the 4, but then if the next row was -10 and -2 I would like the formula to return -2.

I am usually confident with excel, I know the answer is staring me in the face but my mind has gone blank on this one so any help will be appreciated and paid with kindness.

    Cheers

As in, you need the highest value out of both of the two columns (14 being the answer in your example data)?

If so, is something like this what you're looking for?
