    Need Help on Conditional Formatting

    Hello Everyone,

I have a requirement like below,
    A B C D
    50 10
    50 20
    50 60
    50 70
    50 40
    50 38
    50 80
    50 20
    50 17

I have conditional formatting on cell B ie compare with cell values A and do the coloring on cell B, am comparing if the cell B values are greater than cell A value indicate the particular cell with RED color and if its less then with GREEN color,

Its simple, i created a conditional formatting on cell B , but now when Cell C and D data populates(data populates via query from a db) , it should automatically do the conditional formatting same as cell B.
Tried format painter on cell C and D from cell B before data populates in to Cell C /D, but when we get the data conditional formatting not working,

    How can we achieve this?

    One way ..

    Select "Applies to ..."

Fill in ranges as shown below

    =$B$1:$B$9,$D$1:$D$9,$F$1:$F$9,$H$1:$H$9,$J$1:$J$9

Re: Need Help on Conditional Formatting

    IF Column B, C & D should depend on A, Try this
Delete the existing CF. Select the entire range from B2
    Formula
    =B2<$A2
    Format for required colour.
    Similarly for other conditions.
