Conditional Formatting Cells containing formulas

I've been looking for a solution to this simple (that's what I thought) conditional formatting problem and I can't find an answer, so I have to ask the experts.

When I apply a simple conditional formatting of cell Value > 12 (in the "Totals" worksheet), I get the empty cells highlighted instead. Please help!!

Well I guess one option would be to change the IF statements in those cells to return a CERO value if NOT TRUE and go to the OPTIONS section and not display CERO VALUES. Not sure if there is a better solution, but please le tme know, I'm new to VBA and my methods are not always the best.

Your blank cells are not really blank, they are formulas returning " "
Thats a Text String.

And oddly enough (it makes sense though), TEXT is considered Greater Than any Number in > and/or < comparisons.

Try changing the rule from Greater Than, to Between.
And use between 12 and 9.99999999999999E+307
