Data Validation with Proper Text

Hi,

I use Data validation regularly where the source text is taken from a named range. The issue I find is that when the data is keyed instead of selected, it will accept the text input, despite any capitilisation. I really would like to force the text to be capitilised for the sake of consistent presentation.

Unfortunately, I cant seem to get the syntax correct. Using a List box with ='Race Records'!$I$2:$I$166 as the Data validation source, how can have the resultant text in the cell be capitilised if the text is type in instead of selected from the list box.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

VBA can help, I think.

With Data Validation, can not prevent user input from keyboard, but can check in other cell by EXACT() function, then highlight it.
