    Hello,
I am trying to make this worksheet which will display all the names those are suppose to be working on that date.
Example: if i input 02/01/2015 all the names those are not "OFF" that day will be listed. Any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

We can't do much with pictures - please attach a sample Excel workbook instead.

    Re: Index Positive Matches

    Put this formula in E4:

    =IF(INDEX(G4:M4,MATCH($B$2,G$3:M$3,0))="ON",MAX(E$3:E3)+1,"-")

    then copy down to E19.

Then you can use this formula in C3:

    =IFERROR(INDEX(F:F,MATCH(ROWS($1:1),E:E,0)),"")

and copy this down for as many names as you expect (doesn't matter if you copy too far - you will just get blanks).

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
