    V-Lookup Problem not working

    Hi

    I need the info in perfor datasheet to pick up all the information regarding budget, actual and variant for a particular month when selected in cell B1

    The information is picked up from the budget datasheet

    c3 =INDEX(budget!$A$5:$AB$123,match(perfor!A3,budget!$A$5:$A$123,0),17) and drag down

    and the answers should be populated by the month. So if b1 in perfor spreadsheet is feb-16, should only display the answers for that month

    what failure do you get?

    what did you expect as result?

    where do we find the actual and variant data in your example?

    it is working now but need it when the user select a month from the drop down box in b1 it populates those answers for just that month

    then change the 17 in the give formula into

    match($B$1,budget!$Q$5:$AB$5,0)
