I can't use shape tool on one worksheet

I want to draw a box on my worksheet but the tools are not active (greyed out). This occurs on one of several worksheets in my workbook. All of the other sheets have access to the icon. My entire workbook is too large to post so I made a copy of the offending worksheet and it is attached.

I need to put a rectangle or square on a cell and activate it for a macro, which I am able to do in all other worksheets, but not for the one in the attachment.

The sheet is protected. You have to unprotect it first, then the tools will be available.

Thanks so much, I should have thought of that - I unprotected and it brought the tools back. I will mark thread solved.
