COUNTIF Issue

Hi Experts -

Request your help on attached file.

What I need is:

1. In Sheet 1 , Column B (No of Branch Manger) and Column C (No of Sales Executives) need to be populated based on formula from sheet 2 (Column C & D respectively). Please note that reference of region in sheet 1 needs to be taken from column A in sheet 2. Blank cells should not counted as these are vacant positions.

Right now , I have hard punched numbers in sheeet 1.

I think I need to use COUNTIF with nested calculation function. I dont know how to use this
