    Transpose data

I have a different situation, it is sometimes more columns in the source group and more rows in the group.
Is there a possibility only using formula, transpose data group from column-row in to row-column?
    No VBA!
The attached file is a simple example.

...that may be so but this is clearly a much simplified example and probably doesn't represent the size of your actual data. i.e. length of text labels, numbers of data rows/columns etc.

We often find that when we give an answer to what is a trivial non representative example when the solution is used with the real world data it doesn't work because of factors like string length and other stuff which is important but hasn't been mentioned.

Therefore upload your real workbook (or at least a cut down copy), and manually add the results you expect to see. Clearly identify which is original data and which are the results and in a note clearly explain how you have arrived at your results.

For instance we need to know whether there are only three rows of data since your results are offset every three rows. Where does for instance dataA come from. Is this simply the first 5 characters from A1 and will that always be the case?

Finally how fixed is your data layout? With a different layout it's quite possible that a Pivot table would provide a solution without needing formulae or VBA.
Even if it is fixed and you have no control over it I'd still consider a pre-processing macro that converted you data into a layout a Pivot table could use.

    Re: Transpose data

Richard thank you for the answer to the topic and your time
I don't want Pivot Table or VBA.
In this case, I need a formula that I will copy down/across.
The formula should return the expected data.
I will adjust the formula for my various problems.

    I have three different cases.
first case - Data A 1/2, Data B 1/2, Data C 1/2 of the 3 rows (in the atached example)
    second case - Data A 1/2/3/4, Data B 1/2/3/4, Data C 1/2/3/4, Data D 1/2/3/4 to 7 rows
    third case - Data A 1/2/3/4/5, Data B 1/2/3/4/5, Data C 1/2/3/4/5, Data D 1/2/3/4/5, Data E 1/2/3/4/ to 10 rows

If it can be done with one formula that will be great, of course, with my additional changes in the formula for different case?
    Thanks in advance

There may be but you haven't uploaded your real data nor commented on any variability in your data as I requested.
Purely for interest why do you reject a macro or Pivot Table out of hand?

What's more important here, a complex compound formula containing a few functions or a simple flexible Pivot Table that will deliver not only this particular analysis but also many other analyses?

    Re: Transpose data

I don't want that someone served me almost a solution for all possible problems. I want to learn through the one example formula. I want to study the formula and get to the other solutions for other examples.
Okay, if no solution, the topic can be closed.
    My respect
