How to track changes in an Excel Template

Hi Everyone,

Not quite sure if this is the right place for this question.

But, I am wondering if there is a function or formula that can track changes in an excel template.

The template I have is just data in different tabs connected by formulas.

The problem is that when I make updates to the tab, I overwrite everything and to track changes before and after the update is an issue.

There is a track update function in excel but Its not quite sufficient for me. So far it only leaves a comment in the new fields but is there even a way to check the cells with comments?
