Tally of calls occuring during a specific time frame

Hello, I need to count the number of calls that occur during a specific time frame for a month (ie: 01:00:00 to 01:59:59). I have used a countif formula to do it automatically so i can just add in new data and get the results quickly but the totals are off by 3 when i compare it to the actuals. I highlighted the counts that are different but I cant figure out what in my formulas is causing this slight variation. Please help! Thank you!

Hi Claire and welcome to the forum,

The higher number is correct. See if using a pivot table works easier than a formula. If you want you can base the Pivot on a Dynamic Named Range so it will reflect what is added or changed or removed from the table. Note also Pivots need to be refreshed after data is changed. See the attached.

You can change, add or remove stuff in column A and the Pivot will automatically reflect the new data. Look behind the worksheet at the VBA, at the Names Manager for the DNR and the source of the Pivot data.

Re: Tally of calls occuring during a specific time frame

I didn't check all three of the cases however in the first case 12:00:00 to 12:59:59 there was a call made at 12:59:59. Since the formula reads: =COUNTIF(A2:A4610,">=12:00:00")-COUNTIF(A2:A4610,">=12:59:59") it subtracts that call. Changing the formula as follows yields 200 as expected:
