    Help with COUNTIF

    Hi guys,
    I have a range of data on my excel sheet, and I want to find the frequency of data that lies within the interval of 30,000-35,000 using the countif function. How do I go about doing this? as in what do I type for the criteria? (I have 2016 Excel on both Mac and Windows)

    One way...

    =COUNTIFS(A1:A10,">=30000",A1:A10,"<=35000")

    Or, using cells to hold the criteria...

    C1 = 30000
    D1 = 35000

    =COUNTIFS(A1:A10,">="&C1,A1:A10,"<="&D1)
