    Lookup formula....Maybe....

    Hi All,

I'm looking for some help programming an "order sheet".

Although I've been creating basic spreadsheets for a couple of decades (I go back to using LOTUS 123), I'm having trouble understanding whether I can achieve my needs through a simple (or not so simple) formula.

I have a rather extensive order sheet. the columns are typically Item Name, Unit Size, Inventory, Par Stock, Order Amount, Remarks.

Since there are hundreds of items on the order sheets but only a few dozen ordered at any given time, I was hoping to create a tab in the work book which would print out Item Name, Unit Size AND Order amount ONLY, for those items which have a value in the Order Column.

Is this possible? How complicated is the formula (if that is indeed what it is).

    All help is much appreciated.....

I think that this may be a simple macro. It would be helpful if you uploaded a sample workbook with some sample data showing the order sheet and then the expected results on the new sheet.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I uploaded a very simple one line sheet.

Imagine hundreds of items on the sheet. I'm hoping to just "pull" the items that have an order quantity (in the needed column) to another tab in the workbook. I'd need to "pull" the item name, unit size AND order quantity (along with remarks).

    Thoughts?

This may be a little better
