    Conditional Formatting using traffic light system.

    Hi,

    I am trying to create a column which has dates in (call it todays date) which relates to a qualification passed for example, the qualification will expire annually therefore 1 year from that date, so i would like to set this date green for good, then would like it to turn amber with 2 months to go and red if it reaches the 1year point or later. I have got it to turn red and green by using the following:

    Cell value > Now()-308 = green
    Cell value between NOW()-56 and =NOW() = Amber
    Cell value < NOW()-308

    Can anyone offer me any suggestions on a better formula please?

    Hi,

    What are the 308 and 56 referring to.

    Maybe

    for the green.

    For a date within 2 months change the EOMONTH parameter from -13 to -3.

    Thanks Richard,

    308 and 56 refer to days, as I assumed I was the date a year from now and had to work backwards from that date, I will give your formula a go and see if it works, Thank you.

    cheers

    Neil
