    Auto populate data across worksheets

I have a workbook with multiple sheets. The first sheet is "Master List" with Column A populated with "Player #" then columns B,C,D,E, F, G, H with other data like address phone number email etc.

What I want to do is to be able to make a new sheet that auto populates the data from the Master List columns B,C,D,E, F, G, H into the new worksheet with just the input of the Player Number in Column A of the new sheet.

So I want the new sheet to look at the input of the player number in Column A, then reference back to the Master List sheet A, find that number then auto populate the blocks B,C,D,E, F, G, H with that same data.

    Hope that all makes sense???

    Welcome to the forum.
I seems as if you want an Index/Match formula such as:

which would be placed in B2 of the 'new sheet' and then dragged across to H2. I would really be best to press the "Go Advanced" button below the "Quick Reply" window and upload a sample of your worksheets so that we could see your setup.

Attached is the results of your suggestion. Almost there. Is there a way to modify the formula so the blocks with no data in the Master List do not auto populate a ZERO on the new sheet?
Also is there a way that the blocks with no Player number do not display the #N/A? I can certainly work around the issue but if its an easy fix????

    Thanks,

Awesome. How did you learn all that? If I knew where you were I would buy you the libation of your choice!!!!!

It looks as though the formula you wrote would also go beyond just the "H" column??? Is that correct? Like for instance if I ever added another data point in column I, J, K etc. With my limited knowledge it looks like you took it out 100 columns?

Yes, the formula could be copied across to column K or as far as you want. The 100 in the formula lets it check the first 100 rows of the 'Master List', if you end up with more than 100 players simply increase that number, or you can also reduce that number to match the row of the 'Master List' that has the last player entered, which would be 16 in the file attached to post #3.
let me know if you have any questions.
