Filter not working in Excel 2016

I am using a filter and having an issue with columns G and H. When I select the filter in column G - I get only 2 values displayed:

0 and Blanks

Several cells contain the value "Row #" cell G412 for example.

I have a second filter issue in column H: I have colored several rows of cells with different colors and when I select the filter the option to filter by color is not available (Greyed out).

I have removed filters and reset them but the problem persists. I've also un-colored the cells and the issue with the incomplete list persists.
