    Cool Range lookup in Text format cell(NEW)

    Source:
    A2 = “10-20/25-40/50-60/70/72/80-99”
    C1=10
    D1=21
    E1=55
    F1=70

    NOTE:
    Value in A2 is text format, “10-20” means “from 10 to 20 inclusively”, “/” means delimiter between each group (with or without range)
    C1:F1 is numerical number (only 2 digit number is used)

    Want to use formula (regular or array formula only please) in C2:F2 to show
    If row 1 number is within range per A2, show 1, otherwise , show 0.
    Example,
    D1(21) is not found in A2(by direct text search AND it is not within the range description in A2), so D2 should be 0
    E1(55) is not found in A2(by direct text search but it is included in range description of “50-60”.so E2 should be 1.

    thanks,

    Yes, they are similar. that is the reason I put "NEW" in subject of my question and I didn't get the solution at that time.
