problem with filter in excel 2016

The filter doesn't seem to be working correctly.

I have a spreadsheet (attached) that has filter set on for all columns. When I select the filter in column G it lists only zeroes and blanks, however several cells actually have a value of "Row #". Cell G412 is an example.

I column H I have several different groups of rows with coloring, but when I select the filter for that column the "Filter by Color option is not available (Greyed out).

I have turned all filters off and back on to verify there is not another column being filtered.

Also, I got an Excel forum database error when I tried to post the same problem earlier.

Wow, that's pretty cumbersome if you need blanks in those rows. I will be able to put something there just to make the filter work though. Thanks for the fast response. I was a little be-wildered.
