Determine if a files exists for a hyperlink formula.

Hi All,

I have the below code in Column E for Rows (D6:D205). I'd like for the hyperlink only to show if the file actually exists. Any suggestions.

I don't know of a way in standard Excel functions. But it is easy enough to write a VBA function that can be used on the worksheet to return a true/false for existence.
If you are hoping to have the worksheet open and just monitor a change in status that would be a lot more difficult. Having a button to click to re-check is quite do-able.

What are you trying to do?

A button to check would work. Would the true/false response require another column or can it be incorporated into the column/cells where the hyperlinks exist?
