    I want to convert KB, MB, and GB to one unit so I can display a chart.

    I want to make a hidden sheet where I can show how RAM has increased over the last 3 decades, then make a chart out of it. Here is my spreadsheet, what formula would I need to apply to accomplish this? I am very new to excel so I'd appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks!

    You could create a row (then hide it) beneath your data and convert all your values into MB

    128KB = 0.128
    16MB = 16
    1 GB = 1000
    8 GB = 8000

    then base your chart on this
