write date digit shows complete date formate

dear all

i want when i write 1106 in cell its should be show complete date like 11-jun-2016 if write 0106 its show date 01-jun-2016.after making this i will drag the date for more cells and also make link with this cell to others that should be works with it also..pl help

Enter the date in full in date format : simply formatting them will not make them usable in any date formulae.

reason for it that some time we have to give future date to client of concern dept like 10 days more or 15 days.this is daily and mush more exercise for us..lot of mistake in hurry that why simple and soft solution required..

i changed some made, i made E cell for date when i write like 1206 and run macros its shows 12-jun-2016 which is rite but when i over write its not work and display wrong date...and when i write 0116 .0 disappears and date show 10-06-16 instead of 01-jun-2016.

it is possible that i will macros only once in day after its work accordingly.

Yes if you overwrite the computed date it will be wrong as it is expecting data as "nnnn" not "dd-mmm-yyyy".

From your post I can't see that entering data as you propose is any more fool proof than entering a date.
