Require Formula for Auto drop down year and match expenses

Dear All,

Pls see attach file, I am looking for a formula in "Profit and Loss" tab for red highlighted portion.

As per year drop-down expenses from help1 tab should be arrived in red portion, I have tried formula in June 2016 (last two hrs struggling), but it does not work.
