Fixing Formula NOW()

Hi Everyone,

i'm working on a specialized tracker for audits and in order to verify how much time does the person auditing is taking to get it done i need to create a formula to leave a timestamp.
i've used Now() formula but it works for the first record however when i fill out a second line it will change the actual line and also the ones above or if i ever update any cell in the spreadsheet it will change all the timestamps to the actual date/time.i need to fix it so i can record the information i need. I've read many posts saying that i need to get into VBA codes. i'll attach the file. need help please!

please let me know if there is a formula i can use or trick to fix the result?

There is really only two options. One is using VBA which will do it automatically, The other is teaching the shortcuts. For current date use Ctrl+; for current time use Ctrl+Shift+;. In order to help with teaching that you could put an input message into the cell. The Input Message can be found by going to the "Data" tab, then "Data Validation", then "Input Message". What an input message does is when ever theat cell is selected a message appears next to the cell.
