I been trying to figure out the formula, but i hopeless
when the option row change to 1, the column will highlight when it have 1 too.

conditional formatting
i cant see the rows
assuming they are rows 4 to 100
select the range C4:C100
and then use the formula
=AND(C4=C$1, C4<>"")
and format yellow
see attached
rather than an image load a sample spreadsheet

To attach a file to your post,

click that and select "Choose File" (top Left corner).
Find your file, click "Open" click "upload" click 'close windows" Top Right. click "Submit Reply"
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.

Conditional Formatting
Highlight applicable range >>
$C$4:$O$100
Home Tab >> Styles >> Conditional Formatting
New Rule >> Use a formula to determine which cells to format
Edit the Rule Description: Format values where this formula is true:
=AND(C4=C$1, C4<>"")
Format… [Number, Font, Border, Fill]
choose the format you would like to apply when the condition is true
OK >> OK
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
