Return cell background color value

In my worksheet, cells in column D are having different colors. In column G, I wish to return the color value corresponding to D column cells i.e. E15 will indicate D15 color value (or even color name will also do). Can someone help?

Only VBA can do this, not a formula, do a Google or wait till someone comes along with the expertise.

Are the cells in column D colored by hand, or by conditional formatting?
If they're done by Conditional Formatting, you can use those same conditions in some sort of IF fomrula.
