    Formula for line column

Hello, I don't know how to explain this but I will try.

    Week------Sales
    1-----------500
    2-----------600
    3-----------300
    4----------Div/0
    5----------Div/0

    First Week 500
    Last Week (Formula)

So basically I want it to know what is last data is. It's 300, but I want excel automatically to put the number in. Is there a formula for this like =line(b1:b4),1) or something like that?

    Thanks, Bogdan.

Is this a joke? why are those numbers so large? so basically the formula has something to do with =lookup?

It might have worked but it is a coincidence; if you want the last value, his formula was working well

His number is huge because it has to be a bigger number than all the ones you have. You can try with something like 9999999999 is his number seems to large, but that's still the idea.

9.99999999999999E+307 is documented as the largest number a cell can possibly hold.

And No, it was not a joke.

    Did you try it?

Members would probably get banned from the forum for playing jokes like that.
