    Question Making a formula automatically work

    Hey All,

    I am having trouble making my formula work. It is a very simple formula, =A4+1, =A6+1, =A8+1, etc. It used to be that when I filled in the first number it auto-filled the rest of it for me but now that isn't working since I switched from Office 2010 to Office 2016. Below is a picture of what I am doing.

    In A4 I just type the number I want to start with and in the other fields it is A4+1, A6+1, A8+1, etc. I can't figure out how to make it auto-fill again with out having to double click on each and every one of them.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Try this in A6 ...

    =IF(ISEVEN(ROW()),MAX($A$4:A5)+1,"")

    Copy down.

    I attached a copy of what I want the doc to look like. I just want to be able to open it change the first number in A4 and the rest change automatically. It used to do it before I switched to Office 2016
