Hello All,
I have taken help of this forum multiple times through google searches, but this time around the problem seems too big for me.
I have multiple excel files where one sheet contains all data arranged in columns and one another sheet where dropdown list needs to be created.
Now, the column headings of both source and target are the same and I need to create a dropdown list where the formula automatically picks up data from the source depending on this name.
I have tried various things like copying data from source file and pasting it in proper arrangement (source and target have different column arrangements) using hlookup. But this resulted in too many blank fields that I could not get rid of.
I open to follow any method as long as it saves time for me. So, is it possible to achieve something of this sort? If yes, please guide me in that direction.
