Formulas stop updating when page is zoomed?

I have a multi-page workbook, and am using check boxes that - when checked - update a dollar amount. The formulas I have used work fine, until I zoom the page, then the check box farthest to the right stops updating when checked or unchecked.

    It is a multi-step formula:
check box (in column J), to the cell the box is linked to, to a hidden sum box (in column A), to grand total sum (located at the top of the spreadsheet in a merged cell A-J).

The formula always updates in the sum box (A), but stops updating in the total sum when the page is zoomed so columns A-C don't show.

Any ideas? This is going to be used by consumers, and needs to function properly at all times.

Can you attach the workbook please? (replace confidential data with fictional so that we can still see what happens).

Click 'Go Advanced', then scroll down and click 'Manage attachments'

Without seeing it, we probably have a better chance of correctly guessing every medal winner in the 2020 Olympics!

    edit:-

Could you also proved us the details of the zoom levels you're using (working and not working) and which checkbox causes the problem.

I can see your point The full workbook is too big - I pared it down to just the problem portion. I think it's attached...? It is the Appliance 1 page, the last item.
Again - when you zoom in, or scroll to the right, the formula up top stops updating

    Thank you!

Do you have access to a different pc that you can test on?

I have just tried zooming in, zooming out, scrolling, etc. and the checkboxes all appear to update their respective formulas correctly.

I have to go AFK for a couple of hours, will look into it more when I get back.

Re: Formulas stop updating when page is zoomed?

I don't think that the zoom level is the problem, I've just been trying a few things and it appears that the problem only applies to the formula in the merged cell, B2, under the following conditions.

Column A is not visible on the screen.

And the cursor remains stationary after clicking the checkbox. (if you move the cursor, even slightly after changing the checkbox, the formula updates correctly).

It appears to affect all of the checkboxes.

    edit:-

Correction, the merged cell is A2, not B2.

If the formula linked to the checkboxes is in a range of merged cells then the top left cell of the merged range must be on the visible area of the screen for the formulas to function instantly.

Unmerge the cells with the formula, and move the formula to D2. Problem solved
