Hi,
I have a many start and end dates for various items.
I need to sum the values for each item for each month.
The start and end date for one "itemline" can fall into different months.
See attached spreadsheet.

Try
E13=SUMPRODUCT(($D$5:$D$9=$D13)*(MONTH($E$5:$E$9)=MONTH(E$12))*($G$5:$G$9)) and drag

Don't forget to mark threads as "Solved" (Thread Tools->Mark thread as Solved)
ARRAY formula in E13, then drag across.
