Updated table with data categorized by date

    Hi Friends,

I am working on a workbook for my company that lists all field calls for different agents. I have to present each person's weekly visits and follow ups to the President at the start of each week. Right now I have a separate table for each agent, with the prospective client, date of visit, and date of follow up. Each agent is able to edit their own page. I would like to make a master worksheet/table that automatically compiles the prospective meets and follow ups each week so I don't have to sort through hundreds of posts each week.

I am not extremely familiar with Pivot Tables, but am open to using one if that seems like the best approach. (My attempt totally failed).

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum!

What you're describing might be possible, but it all depends on what your data looks like and what you want it to look like. If you could post a small sample workbook (Use: Go Advanced --> Manage Attachments), we would have a much clearer idea of what you're working with. Please be sure to alter or remove any sensitive data.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I should also state, it doesn't have to automatically update, but I don't want to have to reconfigure a long complicated formula each time if not necessary.

Tables are far from my specialty so perhaps someone can volunteer something better, but here's a VBA procedure that appears to work:

In the attachment, I hooked the procedure to a button that you can hit when you need to update your master sheet to show everything within a week of the current date. It seems to work for me, but test it out and see if it does the trick for you. (N.B. In the attachment, I changed several of the dates of your entries while testing)
