Question Return values from a list to different cells in a column?

    Hello all,

I am working on a database, where I need a formula to return all the report numbers to the corresponding "department".

    See attached excel workbook.

    The cells D3:F3 & D4:F4 & D5:F5 should return the 9 report numbers from column K:K.

    Can anyone assist me?

    In D3, array formula**:

Copy to the right and down.

**Array formulas are not entered in the same way as 'standard' formulas. Instead of pressing just ENTER, you first hold down CTRL and SHIFT, and only then press ENTER. If you've done it correctly, you'll notice Excel puts curly brackets {} around the formula (though do not attempt to manually insert these yourself).
