    Exclamation Adding Line Items to New Pages

    Hi. I'm wanting to know if anyone knows how to format a column so that if a list of company names in Column A, it can automatically add that row of information to a new tab? So if I enter information on a main page, then each it will automatically add the entire row to a new tab based on the Sub's name.

    Can you attach a copy of the file and maybe highlight in detail what it supposed to look like before hand then what you want it to look like afterwards?

    See attached. you'll see the main tab is the "Master Spreadsheet". You'll see tabs specifically for each subcontractor. I am wondering if there is a way to have each line item move to it's respective tab based upone entering the Sub contractory name.

    Create a new sheet for all Unique values


    This is exactly what I was looking for!! Do you have the formula for this so I can start my own new sheet?

    O believe one of the options is to add new entries to existing sheets, or to add tabs as needed. Keep plugging at it. No formulas needed. Uses VBA.

    vba? please explain. i'm somewhat new to getting into excel for more than basic things.

    Visual Basic. Try using the template, exchanging data labels and fields shown for yours, and finding a scenario that works for you.
