Merging (Copying) data across worksheets

Hi All.

I am new to excel but am required to use it. I have two worksheets, 1 contains the event dates (M&A) and the 'CUSIP' underneath (which is a company identifier) pertaining to each event. Some CUSIP may have multiple events. There are approximately 300 events. Down the first column i have dates from october 1999 until december 2015 (daily). In the second sheet i have a table with each CUSIP across the columns and dates down the side with daily returns in the array. What i need to do is copy all of the returns for each specific CUSIP into the sheet with the event dates. Is there anybody that knows of a function or of a way to do this, i have looked into VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, MACTH and index but to no avail. I have attached the data so you can understand what i need.
