    Delivery date depending on job

    Hi all,

I have a number of tasks to complete, each task is of different size (very small, small, medium etc...), each task size has a differnt time scale to deliver (21 days for small and v small, 28 days for medium etc...), the delivery date can not be a weekend, all dates are to be calculated from recieve date.

Please see the attached file (delivery date) if it works

Can anyone help out on this?

    Thanks,

    D

hi there. maybe you could input the answers you are hoping to see. that will help us know if the solutions we provide are correct. i am guessing this in cell H11:
    =WORKDAY(F11,VLOOKUP(G11,$E$2:$F$6,2,0),$J:$J)

i catered a column for you to input holidays in column J if needed. if unnecessary, just:
    =WORKDAY(F11,VLOOKUP(G11,$E$2:$F$6,2,0))

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.

Re: Delivery date depending on job

My first inclination was along the lines of Ben's, that work would only proceed on weekdays (as Ben said including expected results helps). I then got to thinking that perhaps work would proceed on weekends also, and that the weekday restriction was only for deliveries. In the event of the latter try the following formula:
