    Table Sort and Filter

    Dear all,

    ScreenHunter_003.jpg

    1. Lookup the largest value from G5:G8 (89)
    2. Lookup the relative range from Col E (<=10)
    3. Find out the first 2 names with values in this range. (Alice & Tom)
    4. Put the result on I5:J6.

    5. Repeat similar procedure for the 2nd large value from G5:G8 (65)
    6. Put the result on I7:J8.

What are the formula in I5:J8 then?
    Thanks

Enter array formula in I5, pull formula to J5 and then down
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    ***Array formula
...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER.
You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula.
If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.

    Re: Table Sort and Filter

Values in G5:G8 have no application in any of the tables. The col E contains text and not numeric values and therefore can't be use for the look up purposes.
