Deleting contents of row while not affecting formula

Hi , Please can someone help me with the attached sheet , when i import the horses into my sheet it will import all that fit my criteria .
but then i will only bet the horse if it meets my odds criteria at the start of the race . Therefore at the end of the days racing when i need to update my results
i also need to delete some horses out that did not meet the odds criteria . But when i do this it breaks my formulas and returns #REF
On the attached sheet i need to remove the horse "Pinkie Brown" and then close the gap by moving horse "RATHER BE " up the list but i cant do this without
breaking the formulas in the end columns .
If possible i would rather modify my formula to allow it to function after a deletion ?

    Thanks Matt

Delete the ENTIRE ROW. Select the row. Right click & delete.

I got #REF errors when I deleted an earlier line (nothing happened when I deleted the Pinkie Brown line). I think you should consider converting your range or at least part of it to an actual table which will solve these problems. Either that or generate a fake column which will contain X for the lines you want to delete (perhaps the "Won" column?), sort the data by it and make sure the lines to be deleted are at the bottom, and then delete them, as far as I can tell your formulas will be still correct because they're just a running sum.

Thanks all i got around the issue by changing my formula to =IF(AC6="","",OFFSET(AD6,-1,0)+AC6)
it now uses OFFSET to ref the above cell not the actual cell .
    All works now
