Help To Filter/Find Data in Table Based on Multiple Criteria, Performing Calcs

I need some help. I have a table of audit tracking data that includes audit type, employee name, and score for monthly audits. I need to cross reference the audit type with the employee name and then take corresponding scores and determine the high score, the low score, and the average score for the YEAR.

I've looked at AVERAGEIF, AVERAGEIFS, INDEX, MATCH, array formulas, etc, etc, and I can seem to get them to partially work, but not fully work for what I need to accomplish.

I appreciate any help I can get. File is attached.

Unfortunately, that is how the data is given to me. The sheet I provided is just a simplified version of a much larger spreadsheet with sheets of data. But the data arrangement is the same and would be a very significant undertaking to move around. I'm not opposed to creating a temporary table or hidden table that re-arranges the data for better use.
