    Replace form controls by formula

Good afternoon! I am new to this forum and I need help with an issue please. I created a spreadsheet with many, well a lot of control forms! It is an inspection sheet where the status of every indivdual item to be inspected has to be selected (n/a, good, so-so, poor). I have inserted a radio button for each option for each item. The document has become really heavy and takes a very long time to open, print or just scroll up and down. I was wondering if there was a way to lighten the spreadsheet with all the controls or if a formula could be created to allow only 1 value in a range of 4 cells so that only 1 of the status can be registered per item.

    Thank you very much,
    Odyssee

Have you considered using Data>Validation... with the List option?

That could give you dropdowns with N/A, Good, So-So, Poor and the user would only be able to choose one option.
