Find the latest price based on the date

Hello,

I would like to have some help on the attached file. I need a formula to find the latest price (column D) for different products based on the latest date.
I hope I am making sense here.

Hi Jackson,

Try array entering this formula in D5 and filling down until you get blanks. If you aren’t familiar with array-entered formulas array enter means the formula must be committed from edit mode by simultaneously pressing and holding down Ctrl and Shift while hitting Enter.

The results of my formula differ from the expected in rows 24 and 25. All others agree.
