Transfer vertical data into horizontal data

    Hello,

I need to transfer data (part numbers) that belong each to one article number, from a vertical table format into a horizontal format.
    Example: see attachment.

I tried to insert two columns to sort the data and add numbers but somehow it didn't work.
Does somebody have an idea what formula to use in this case?

    Thanks a lot!

    Try this
In Data sheet, insert a column between 'Material' and 'Part' (Column A as Material, Column B as Helper, Column C as Part and Row 2 has labels)
Use in B3 and copy down
    Formula: copy to clipboard

In Overview sheet use column B as Article, C as Part 1, D as Part 2 ...
In C3 use the following formula and copy down and across
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Another way. It is an array-entered formula.

Array enter this in C2, fill down and across.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

If you aren’t familiar with array-entered formulas array enter means the formula must be committed from edit mode by simultaneously pressing and holding down Ctrl and Shift while hitting Enter.
