format column to only calculate top row value

pressing autosum calculates the row above. i want each row in the column to divide the value of the row to left with the value at the top of the column.

so copying =sum{k15/j16) to below values gives me =sum(k16/j17) and so on when i autosum. i want it to auto calculate =sum(k15/j17) and so on. So all rows are divided by k15.

there has to be a formula for this. seems like it should be simple, what am i missing.

I have several columns that need similar formatting and have over 100 rows in each column. so too much to do manually. Need formula.

    Hope my explanation is clear.

    thanks you.

    Hi,

You need to use an absolute formula, also you don't need to do an autosum.
You just need to use =K$15/J16 in cell K16 and you should be able to copy that down the column.
