Hey guys, I'm having trouble with this formula. B10 is a pull-down cell. It works great for Horizontal but when it says Vertical I get a False.
=IF(B10="horizontal",((B6+B7)*2)*B9,IF(B10="Vertical",B5*B9))/24
Hey guys, I'm having trouble with this formula. B10 is a pull-down cell. It works great for Horizontal but when it says Vertical I get a False.
=IF(B10="horizontal",((B6+B7)*2)*B9,IF(B10="Vertical",B5*B9))/24
=IF(B10="horizontal",((B6+B7)*2)*B9,IF(B10="Vertical", (B5*B9)/24, "" ))
what happens ?
you did not complete the formula
, "" ))
where "" is whatever you want if its NOT vertical or hosizontal
if there are the ONLY choices
then
you only need the 1 test, as if its not horizontal it must be vertical
=IF(B10="horizontal",((B6+B7)*2)*B9, (B5*B9)/24 )
