Remove duplicates not removing duplicates bug, so what???!!!

Dear all;

please tell me, does anybody really solve the problem of "not removing the duplicates" correctly from the time series data. Yes, I double checked no spaces and nothing wrong, I have been trying for 5 hours to solve this problem by reading all the related tips. no suggestion works with me. Please see the attached excel file and advice

I used advanced filter to copy unique records to column C, and there is exactly the same number of records.

Why do you think that these values do contain duplicates? Are you just basing it on the 5 decimal places that are displayed? Look in the Formula Bar and you can see that the values have up to 15 decimal places, so maybe this is confusing you.

Format the cells with 15 decimal places then SORT :

You will then see the issue is one of the accuracy of floating point numbers..

To overcome this, you will need to ROUND your data.

If you ROUND("data",12) and then use "Remove duplicates" you will remove 406!

you're absolutely right, but this has never happened when I was trying in past to remove the duplicates. can you please tell me how to format numbers and remove duplicates as shown (5 digits and not 15). I want to ask Excel to remove the duplicates based on the 5 digits shown and not the 15 ones.
